This week was SILLY, you guys. No sleep, birthday parties, big projects. AND... I built a website. Like, I BUILT this thing, and I've never done that before on my own. Ever. * takes a bow.

Anyway, after craziness I figured I'd post a roundup of some of the things I found or enjoyed along the way.

The word “create” has a fascinating history. From ancient times, it was as if we humans had no adequate sounds in our vocabulary, no accurate colors in our artist palettes, no satisfactory tones in our stringed instruments to convey creativity as an incarnate expressive capability. Right up until The Enlightenment, “creation” was more or less an exclusive power of the gods.

I hear petitions from the upstairs as I attempt to patiently review phonics with my 6 year old. The shouts only get louder. Their source: a 3 year old asking me to wipe his butt. Seriously. This is my life. I am a creator, an advisor, a mentor, a restorer, a writer, a lover, and most definitely a fighter.
